And of course George won't give a sh1t, but he will offer you a mayor.

Oh, and what if you're unfortunate enough not to be 'working people' when all this goes down? Maybe you can visit one of those food banks that the Tories would rather didn't exist...

Osborne announced plans on Saturday for an emergency budget on 8 July in which he will lay out how he intends to cut £12bn from Britain’s welfare bill and announce a fresh wave of austerity measures.

Brace yourselves.

I watched a thing on iPlayer that pointed out the conservative manifesto said more about saving polar bears than it did about actually where the cuts were going to be. The only logical conclusion is if people had known what the detail of the cuts, a lot of people wouldn't have voted for the conservatives. I have a feeling a lot of tory voting pensioners are going to be in for the shock of their lives. There's simply no way they can lop £12bn off the welfare bill while still 'protecting' pensioners. The money's just not there anywhere else.
