I suppose it's not so difficult to do when you make loads of money, you are still left with enough to live on.
Don't earn a lot and it becomes much harder.

I think it's fairly likely she's aware of that notion and what she means is "I wouldn't massively hurt by paying 70% income tax and other people who are loaded wouldn't either". I don't think she's daft enough to suggest someone on minimum wage should be paying 70% of it in tax..

Yeah, she's a smart cookie.
I didn't think she meant we could all do that, but it would be nice to be in a position where I could live off just 30% of my earnings.
