Any idea on pricing for upgrading from Leopard?

But you bought your Mac after 8th June... I think current Leopard users who don't qualify for the really cheap price get it for something like £30...I think...

Amazingly, just £19, but like Linux_user, I paid just under 8 quid. Excellent news! Looking forward to next week now!

Hmm. It's not up on the academic order web site yet. Usually things do show up there for pre-order shortly before they're available at retail. Maybe they aren't bothering with pre-orders at all this time. Jon

Not on Apple’s main store page either.

I'm guessing at that price they'll just have loads made ready for the queues.

Just seen this over at engadget can't wait.
How many people who aren't usually early adopters of new OS's going to get Snow Leopard? Perhaps because of it's low price.

For £8 - £20 it's hard to justify not getting it, especially if it offers better performance. Compare this to people paying £70-£180 for Vista SP3 with marginal performance benefits.
