That's a mad one. By the sounds of it the privacy angle was well out the window by that stage, and if Hogan was denying it and the tape definitively proved it... has he got much of a case?

It's America. Your likelihood of incarceration is much much more related to how much your lawyers cost than whether you're actually guilty. |

It is about privacy, not whether he did something or not. I'm sure that if you had sex with your girlfriend, you wouldn't want it plastered all over the net... Okay, if you had done it in a public park and a passer-by videoed it, you only hacve yourself to blame, but in the privacy of your own home or a hotel room is something different. It was released without his permission and I can understand that it is distressing. On the other hand, I've never understood why people film themselves having sex... I've heard the name Gawker bandied about a few times, but I never really knew what it was... Now I know, I'm probably even less likely to go there. |

There was an amusing comment on Twitter along the lines of "The best possible outcome is that Gawker lose, and then Hulk gets awarded $100 for damage to his reputation". |
