Yeah. I was watching live :-(

They said that the liquid oxygen fuel tank in the second stage was over pressure and exploded.

:-(

They're not doing very well on the 'not exploding' front are they?

Well so far this is the first failed delivery to ISS. In terms of lost first stage rockets they're still on a par with NASA and every other space agency. That is, 100% of first stages launched have been lost. Lol!

I was really looking forward to this one. Felt like this was the one to nail the landing... And it messed up the launch :-(

I thought one report said they had a run of 18 consecutive successful flights?

Correct. This was the 19th F9 launch and the first failed launch.

The last two or three exploded on landing but we're still successful missions.

Ah. The ISS has had 3 consecutive failed deliveries.

One by SpaceX and two by other companies.

You do wonder how much of an issue this is becoming - there must be stuff they're running out of up there by now. Wonder how fast they can get a replacement package shipped up to them..

I was watching a press conference. Food and water isn't a problem for a long time to come. They are passing stuff to Soyuz to piggy back on their next launch.

Spacex was asked about their Dragon ejection system (boosters on the capsule to get crew out of the danger zone in a situation like this). They said that without doubt it would have fired and saved the dragon capsule and anything or anyone on board.

They also said it is designed to work on explosions a lot more energetic than this.

Thing is... I'm pretty sure the rocket was designed not to explode...
