I'd rather they play by the rules and are open about it than hiring your family as assistants and renting your 2nd home out while claiming on it

It no doubt cost more to process the claim than to just pocket it, but that highlights an issue in the system of expenses in general.

I'm still trying to understand this as HMRC guidelines say 45p per mile up to 10k miles then 25p so how the hell do you track 9p ? :roll:

well its x hundred yards - he probably uses Google maps to work out the distance (actually one of his assistance probably do)
