I learned the other day there is a very good reason people like him get paid in options not salaries. It's called paying much less tax on the income from selling the options. And I mean a lot less; IIRC 28% rather than 33%. There are executives, including Steve Jobs, who are paid $1 in salary per year purely for this reason. Richard. |
