As he apparently was for decades. That's countless lives ruined for no reason at all. |

According to the radio, he'd been living a normal life for about 30 years then (it sounded like) he relapsed recently. Also the radio made a very strong hint that the woman in question had been a victim of abuse in her childhood, although they couldn't actually say so. |
