That's to say nothing of the fake items that these sales are usually about. Both companies are awash with them and it's a pain in the fcuking hole. Some of them are so laughable that a simple piece of software would detect the descriptions FFS, but some improve on the functionality of the real item for less!

As I wrote in the other thread about customs, I avoid sellers on Amazon who aren't German VAT registered. It is a pain getting invoices from them and I need them for reclaiming the tax - if you point out to Amazon that they charged VAT and won't provide an invoice they just tend to shrug their shoulders. So I stick to EU suppliers.
