At a time when hospitals and trusts are still covering up negligence we should totally be running our junior doctors into the ground - you know, the ones who dared to sign up in the first place.

Hunt condemns them but look at what he is doing. He offered a 15% pay rise in basic pay but then cut banding (which pays for antisocial hours and makes up anywhere from 25 to 40% of a junior docs pay) so for most people there is up to 30% drop in overall pay. He then reduces this to 11% and causes it a "pay rise".

Further, Hunt wants the BMA to negotiate but there are 23 points in the contract and Hunt doesn't want to negotiate 22 of them! That's right - they're "non-negotiable".

I genuinely can't imagine all that many people actually believe Jeremy Hunt any more.
