I mis-read the post title, which is just as well, as "Saudi Arabia declares all athletes are terrorists" is a bit bonkers by anyone's standards!

Looks like I cant go there as my passport says no religion - so I guess I will be beheaded as soon as I get off the plane

Actually, one of the candidates for the FIFA presidency has been accused to leading a group that specifically targeted members of the (I think it was) Bahrain national football team that took part in the aborted Arab Spring uprising in that country.

So 'anybody's standard' can be pretty bat-[LIFTED] mental depending on who 'anybody' is.

I failed the United Arab Emirates security checks for work because I put 'none' under the box for religion on the form.
