It happens because nearly every bastard wants an easy life, even if that means risking the health and safety of others. I've gone to AMP meetings, the strategic head of HR... even when occupational health called an extraordinary meeting it was still covered up in my case. After tens of thousands in sick pay over six months, a completely demoralised workforce, public complaints and who knows what else, somebody finally came along to challenge the problem bitch. Even then she was shunted elsewhere instead of being fired.
