The thing is though that the same could be said for Christianity. It's just that at the time those issues were largely sidelined in the religion was at a time when we didn't have access to automatic weapons etc. There was still slavery, persecution and murder of non-believers. Also, at the time very few people heard about it because the news didn't travel much further than the end of the village for most people. |
