By all means demand accountability, but I've never seen such a detailed analysis for England, Wales or NI despite serious individual reports down the years that suggest Scotland is far from alone.

Yeah. How dare the English not subsidise the Barnett formula even more than they are doing.

This is the problem with very left wing governments, they spend what they want, not what they can afford.

Given Scotland has 1/10 of the population of England (more or less) but we've got a shedload more than £500bn of debt, I don't really see where Westminster has any right to criticise, frankly.

Because UK debt includes debt spent on Scotland via Westminster. Scottish debt is just what Holyrood has spent.
