I dont really follow football but he was well known, although mainly for the chin. This stood out: Quite an achievement, although I wonder if he ever predicted how bonkers uncapped player wages would get. RIP sir!

I was never a football fan, but I have often watched him talk about football, he was always passionate about his subject and charismatic. He was a household name as I was growing up. Heck, his name and long chin even became a derisive term for somebody telling porkies.
