At 16.9% interest its maybe not a genius move for the customers though, at least not ones with a relatively good credit score. Mind you, it's better than any payday lender will give you.

Is it a loan you can only use to buy stuff from Amazon? In which case it's not really new at all. Any white good retailer will let you buy stuff on credit and they've all been doing it for about 50 years.

Steady income for them though, which is what so many of their services are now about. Or keeping.
