Frank Kelly, Father Ted's foul-mouthed priest, dies aged 77

Doesn't look like anyone mentioned it yesterday.
18 years to the day Dermot Morgan died (28 Feb 1998) as well.

Didn't realise he'd been in the Italian Job.

I'm not sure Grace is the word I would use :D. Agreed about the second half though - That role required a very clever actor to play it and he did it perfectly. Father Jack had to be terrible but you also had to have just a touch of sympathy for him and that was the tricky part he pulled off incredibly well.

Possibly his finest hour

Hard to disagree with that although I think the one where he sobers up is also pretty damn good.
