http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/nhs/121 ... finds.html Honestly surprised and shocked that this happened. I'm already aware that if a GP surgery calls for a 999 emergency ambulance, it can get downgraded as the patient is in a place of safety. I wasn't aware that something similar happened if a patient called via 111. Eleven people died as a result of this decision and the person who allowed this to happen should be charged with manslaughter. |

As should the corporation in question. Even if it's one person's idea, the board bear collective responsibility for the actions of employees. |
