Didn't the Marine Corps recently reject the new bots as too noisy to be of use in the field? I'd imagine that could trigger a desire to bail out. |

They didn't want to sell to the military anyway, but the were obligated to continue the contracts. Seems strange that they have suddenly lost interest - although the guy who pushed heavily for robotics, Andy Rubin, left Google in December 2014. |
