Interesting read for any Polaroid lovers out there.

I still use film in my lomo cameras.
Medium format costs a fortune to develop

You mean that you've not inv3ested in a dark room to do it yourself yet?
I fear the purple one will yell for a dark room before I get a change to open my mouth about having a study...

Me, a spare room & chemicals?

Not a good idea.

I’m not allowed one either.

According to El Reg, the impossible project is coming along rather nicely, with 600 stock being available soon.

But she can develop film in a bag! Or fit blocks to the bathroom windows! Then it can be a clean, dark room, with plenty of water! Imagine if you had to work in a bag, or the bathroom. It just wouldn't make sense! Demand you study! She'll be happy enough with an alternative solution! (8-p)

Don't forget the kit for a lab isn't exactly cheap. Certainly not if you're going to get serious and start using a range of different devs and fixers for different results.
I do think, however, it's absolutely worth it. Dark rooms all round!

The roofspace at home-home has running water, a sink, and electricity as the owner before the owners before us used it as a dark room.

Thing is, dev is only half the story. Where to put the enlarger and all the paper?

It's a nice big roof-space!

Cheers for posting Edd, Faye'll be happy to hear it :D

She'll not be happy with the bathroom, she's convinced she'll have whatever job she has, and do photography on the side as a secondary job, and she really dislikes digital...
