It would seem nobody is paying any attention to history while making US policy. Arming someone else so you don't have to send in your own people sounds attractive but it has a nasty history of coming round to bite you on the backside. Still, I'm sure it'll go sooo much better than it ended up working out in Iraq and Afghanistan. Third times a charm right? |
