Social media has it's place, undoubtedly, but Twitter is just [LIFTED] annoying IMO.

what its good for is finding out why my train is late / cancelled etc. They seem to update twitter far quicker than anywhere else

Posting to Twitter is far less inconvenient than getting a train running. It's also more cost effective
