wow. That's pretty staggering. The man has been acquitted of a crime yet the police can still impose an incredibly intrusive restriction on him, under penalty of years in jail? I can't see how that's NOT an infringement of his right to a private life to be honest. Even if not, it's a massive intrusion into the private life of whoever his partner might happen to be.

Was this plan made up by Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory? It sounds like a part of the Roommate agreement - 24hrs notice of coitus must be given.

How are you supposed to give a name twenty fours hours in advance if you're going out on the pull? If you've got that kind of clairvoyance you'd have won th elottery several times over.
