I guess the success of that would depend on who's been telling the truth. If it's Southern, and the unions have been causing the problems, nothing would change unless TFL backed down on whatever issues are currently being fought. On the other hand, if the train company is the cause of the problems, then this could be a very good thing. The East Coast Mainline did very well under public ownership until the government sold it off again. |
