In fairness, if you soak fabric (clothes, bedding) in something flammable over a long period of time then apply a source of ignition a fire is pretty likely to occur.

These warnings flag up when I'm prescribing emollients to patients. I just ignore it on the basis that I'm not going to set fire to the patient, and that they'll take heed of any warnings on the product or in the leaflet.
