So by the time the election actually happens, the only place May will have answered questions is on The One Show?

Theresa May protest track, Liar Liar GE2017, number four on Official Singles Chart - BBC Newsbeat

It's on Spotify; it's bloody catchy!

Does it have the phrase 'pants on fire' in it? If not, sad.

The one good thing about the election, we get 24 hours of peace and quiet at the end of it :D

You're kidding right?
The telly will be awful tomorrow, at least on any channel carrying news. There will be a big run up to the polls opening then we'll be reminded every 15 minutes that the polls are open. Towards the end of the day there will be endless speculation until whenever exit polls materialise and then it will be a grim slog as the individual results start coming in.
Aside from actually voting I intend to try and avoid it as much as possible.
The day after will be the post mortem and possibly, depending how it goes, the added excitement of a hung parliament and potential coalition negotiations.

Well, I'm working during the day so that's not really an issue. And the fact is they're not even allowed to speculate about the result until after the pools have closed at 10PM, so you may get people standing out side polling stations but legally they're pretty much barred from saying anything other than what the weather is. Yes, after 10PM it's a free for all, but there is a period where the slanging and the pontificating and what have you has to stop.

I shall be in ICU post operation on Thursday night, which helpfully will remove any temptation I might have to watch the election coverage until some god-forsaken hour.

Tomottor will be bad. Whatever the result, there will be a lot of carping and handwringing. I also expect the result to be about as polarising as the referendum result last year. There was a lot of nastiness that was allowed out last year, and there’s little that has happened to make me think that it’s gone.

For example: I overheard this in the market today “we should round up all the immigrants, put them in a concentration camp , and gas them”.

Interesting exit poll. I really hope it pans out.
If it's even half way accurate the Maybot is toast.

looks like a hung parliament not what i wanted and it would seem brexit still remains the main issue.
this will make things very interesting until the next GE in a few years ...

I think May is almost certainly finished. The tories don't tend to be particularly tolerant of failure.
Next election likely to be for the new leader of the Conservative party.
