Very sad. Amazing actor and he's sadly passed away from cancer at 56

He starred in all 3 films.

Great actor and that version was much better than the re-make with Daniel Craig - after having read the books, I couldn't watch the Daniel Craig version, there were so many inconsistencies in the first 20 minutes, I just gave up.

Big D you should know that films are not exactly like books by now lol. I have seen both versions and preferred the original.

I just have a problem watching films, if I have read the book...

If I have seen the film first, that is fine, but once I know the "real" story, I just can't help but sit there are grumble, that didn't happen, he didn't say that, that's wrong!

I've only seen the Daniel Craig version, really need to watch the originals at some point, but it probably needs to be done without the Wench.
