I can kind of understand the the adult-themed jokes in a children's show. Disney-Pixar and the like have been doing them for years. Kids get to enjoy the simple straightforward jokes and adults can get a kick from the more subtle jokes. But the account seems much more brazen and lewd:

Manchester Evening News review: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... e-14051592 TBH, panto has always had elements of double-entrendre. A couple of weeks ago I went to watch my 10 year old niece who was in their village panto, a mish-match of Dick Whittington and Pirates of the Caribbean and there were lines about being around lots of seamen and about being tossed off (over board). In a family show! The kids didn’t get those jokes but there was some quiet sniggers from the dads in the audience - and gasps and tuts from the mums and grans! ![]() |

But that's the whole point - to the kids it is someone being "Tossed" overboard - so its funny but not rude the best of course is ISIHAC esp back in Humphs day with Samantha |
