He is sending either the CTO or the cheif Product Officer... Theoretically people better positioned to ask technical questions about how Facebooks than Sugarhill.

It is a snub to the committee, but on the other hand, Zuck would have been a face, whereas these people might be able to answer some questions - although I suspect the lawyers will stop them saying anything substantive.
