Not really - I'd imagine all of the profit is being consumed by Apple, with carriers walking a fine line between affordability and profit/break even. With more than one carrier this will only get worse as carriers compete with each other to shift them. If you've been taken in by the hype you may be willing to pay for one, but I'm sure there are people out there who just want a phone and see that an iphone tariff gives you far fewer minutes and texts than a normal tariff and also provides carriers with more flexibility. |
