When they say 'the only serving prime minister' to have had a file, I wonder do they mean up until that point?

I'd like to imagine they've got files on the likes of Tony and Gordon :twisted:

Just thinking about it, and knowing their information boundaries aren't always that clear, shouldn't MI6 (with whatever name it had then) have had more data on Wilson than old homeland MI5? :?

Maybe that's the real story...

I think the key word you are missing is "permanent"...

I would imagine that Tony and Gordon had/have files, but they aren't considered permanent. Back then Wilson was a Labour MP, when Labour were left wing, not right of centre... ;)
