I wonder if there's anything the prayer group members could have been charged with since the majority of them did nothing (seemingly)...

Hmm, maybe the judge should have sentenced them to stay in gaol until God answered their prayers and released them... :?

Good. The deserve to rot there. Nowhere in the bible does it say you shouldn't get medical help.

Obviously these guys never heard of the parable:


A woman is trapped on a cliff face with the waves crashing beneath, and she prays to God to save her. A boat comes along, and the captain calls to her - "Jump down, we'll rescue you!". The woman replies "It's OK, I have faith - God will save me!" A helicopter comes along and they throw her a line, but she says "It's OK, I have faith - God will save me!" A hot air balloon comes along side and the occupants offer their assistance. The woman says "It's OK, I have faith - God will save me!" After many hours, the woman falls and is dashed to pieces against the rocks. She ascends to heaven where she meets her Maker. She asks; "God, I'm a religious person and I prayed - why did you not save me?" God replies; "I sent you a boat, a helicopter and a balloon. What more did you want?"
