The big courier companies simply can't do it for small packages and letters. No infrastructure. They'll cherry-pick the rest though.
The Management of Royal Mail are playing a silly game of driving it into the arms of someone like TNT, hoping, one can only presume, to be well rewarded when it happens.... Several friends work for Royal Mail and the stories of management stupidiuty abound.
