This will annoy a friend of mine who wanted a iPhone but it did not have a radio which he uses a lot during the day. He ended up getting a Nokia N97.

I really hate tbe way apple do this. I wish everything could be enabled from the stArt

Then they wouldn't be able to announce extra features periodically as sales appear to flatten.

Meh, I tend to listen to tech podcasts in the car now, so I don't have the radio on there often. Can't say it is a feature I'd be clamouring to get on release...

I use podcasts now quite a lot. At home I listen to Radio 4 and BBC 7 a lot, and then have a multitude of podcasts as well. When I go out I take my iPod stuffed with music which is sometimes the only time I listen to music. A radio would be handy if I want to listen to Radio 4 but BBC 7 is a digital only station so that is out of the question right now.
