Yes but this is Apple so will be a story even if there was nothing behind it.

From my point of view the big thing about this is not having to develop and maintain both a free and paid for version of my apps. It's a feature I've been holding development for. Hopefully it'll remove a lot of App Store clutter, too. |

Sorry, I meant purely in terms of reducing producers having both a free and a paid for version of every app. |
