I can see this being very important. It is only conviction data that are being kept. Not actual arrests. Though maybe when asked the police records should disclose details. I am surprised that children's convictions still show. They should be wiped at 18 from public records. Many kids have a brush with the law and then remain law abiding from then on. It would be harsh to retain such data.
