Part of the problem with AU was it bringing some systems to their knees temporarily (for whatever reason) - how many people to this day still switch them off as a result? I also wonder, does it have any sizable affect on BB caps these days? :?

I gave up on AU myself years ago as a result of it continually borking day to day use in some way or other (continuous BIOS loop was a classic). I actually don't know many 'Doze users who keep it turned on...

our school is still on IE6, its horrific to use and ccrashes if you go anywhere near a flash animation >.<

mind you, a lot of the computers have windows 98 second edition OEM stickers, so they are sh1t to use anyway :cry:

Saying Opera doesn't cupdate is a bit iffy IMO

Every week it starts it tells you if there is a new version out to upgrade to

Can tell I'm using the latest one by Help > Check for updates
