Because it it’s capable of being run on an old Apple G4 PowerBook of the Titanium variety, I’ll be keen to see if my RISC PC can also take up the challenge.

We've got some interesting hardware here it'd be fun to try it on...

For various reasons (mainly involving a fried mobo and the lack of cash to replace it  ), I've temporarily got an old 750MHZ Duron (vintage 2000/2001, I believe) with 512k RAM running the RC of W7.

It's not exactly superfast!

But it is useable for basic stuff(at a pinch), as long as you're not in too much of a hurry. In fact, it's not noticeably slower than it was when I used to use it with Win 2k. Still, I'm looking forward to getting it upgraded again... ;)

As for the article, you'd think that MS would have learned their lesson after the Poland incident. Or maybe not.

my bet is on an outside agency putting together the picture and once again internal QA check not picking it up.
I can think of an example whereby a product was going to be calledd KKK until someone pointed out the possible downside of that name.
Though to be honest how much of a nerd/geek do you have to be to identify a laptop from its back.
