The clock only stops on a change of posession, incomplete pass or if the ball carrier goes out of bounds

I enjoy it, some of the plays are very clever, it's a much more tactical game than rugby or football in that you have much more control over the clock, such as taking a knee when you are in posession to run down the clock while still retaining posession

It has lots of toilet breaks if you are drinking coffee like an addict to stay awake to watch the game. I must admit I do enjoy Channel 5's show.

Uhm... isn't their ball oval?

It is a fun game to watch. When I was in the states I went to watch a college game with my then girlfriend and had an absolute ball. It was a lot of fun. I even lost my voice, as a result of cheering for the home team. And then there were the cheerleaders! Mmmm.

American football is rubbish. Plus they wear more body armour than troops in Afghanistan.
