Some interesting discussion on this over on bit-tech. I still haven't registered there, but lurk a fair amount.

I'm still sitting on my hands for the time being. I'd like to go i7, but it will require an almost entirely new machine and mine currently does everything I need, bar gaming and being a little slow. If it's 32nm that will be very interesting, but that seems unlikely. And yet, why is every article mentioning it. Surely Intel doesn't want everybody considering a 920 to wait and not spend money this year?

Either way, as I'm not in a rush, I'm checking prices daily and awaiting further developments....

I still can't justify upgrading my E6300

Unless it's 32mn then I don't see the point. It'll just have a slightly higher multiplier than the 920. Even the cheapest of cheap systems could overclock a 920 a little bit.

Bear in mind that Intel are far less ocing focussed than AMD. Whilst AMD expect their products to be tweaked by enthusiasts, Intel is the mainstream choice and so a 930 will make sense to "normal" buyers.

If it is 32nm, could be very, very interesting. It just seems extremely unlikely.
