Post subject:  NASA to irradiate monkeys for science

I'm torn between thinking 'poor buggers' (though it might not have any real effect) and 'well, this is how we learn sh1t' :?

I just hope that one day a big bad alien race don't come along and decide "this is how we learn sh1t". :shock:

As I understand it, it can all be sorted out with a Mac or lots of people working with Macs, so we've nothing to fear ;)

Yes, viruses made on Mac OS for a completely alien (literally) OS and computer system! WIN! :lol:

Generally speaking, I'm more in favour of learning sh1t without killing innocent creatures. Back in the day, scientists would learn sh1t by doing this kind of thing to themselves, not to other things. The fact they're doing it to other things first to me suggests they've got a good idea what they expect it to do, and it's not pleasant.

Yeah, but good scientists in specific fields are probably hard to find without them getting irradiated etc ;)
