What's the point of crucifying someone after they've been beheaded?
I'll bet if you had a public poll, a lot of people would be in favour of a death penalty for child rapists here.

This man should not be killed. It is unjust and unfair. He should not be punished like this.
What should happen is until the day he dies he is raped with hot pokers, locked temporarily in rooms with hungy dogs, tied to a pole in public where people can spit, kick, punch, throw acid, etc etc just stopping short of killing him. Just a couple of ideas mind you I'm sure could be plenty more suggestions. Death is the easy way out.

Yep and you would get people queuing up to pull the lever (assuming hanging) - problem is the public won't get a vote on it as the politicians are afraid we might give them the "wrong" answer.

Trouble is, with the cops fitting people up to improve statistics, you'd be getting the wrong people being convicted and killed.
