You should see my parents - especially my dad - in their 60’s, both with their portable Macs and getting along fine with them.

They're certainly older, though not yet pensioners, but even the dunderheads in my extended family can use a PC :)

Fujitsu Siemens did the same thing about 4 years ago. A standard PC with a custom Linux shell with a limited number of available applications.

I chuckle at this kind of thing. It's a fine principle to try and get everyone connected so they can access all the stuff that's out there, but there's a very good reason why some folk don't want to get involved. We should let them alone if that's their choice.

We should make them use computers. Force the little buggers into it. That way, we will know EVERYTHING about EVERYBODY.
