I read about this a couple of months ago when I heard about the Orion project and the Ares series rockets. Can't wait to see the next part of Nasa's space mission take off

Well there is water there, but technically they are crashing the satellite into the moon.

I watched it happen. Talk about anticlimax. I think the shepherd craft was actually aimed at a totally different part of the Moon, and therefore missed the one that was supposed to throw up a plume of stuff.

It's okay, they just forgot to let the CGI chaps know when to start their magic.
Or they managed to target the one crater which is actually an access portal to the interior of the Moon. That's where all the UFOs come from, you know.
What? Ah, yes, nurse. I'll take my medication now.

Thought I'd dig this up as the NASA experiment only went and worked! They've found a significant amount of water on the moon, enough for a lunar base. clickyHandy timing seeing as their funds have just been cut.... * scratches chin *
