It's pretty bizarre that it wasn't just a boilerplate reply. Does this mean Jobsey actually reads his own email rather than getting a flunky to do it?
Either way, not exactly a surprising attitude. You don't get to be the billionaire head of a global corporation if you're not a hard hearted bastard to some degree or other.

I think it probably does. If you were ni e to everyone you could start giving things away, losing money etc...

But I'd agree it costs nothing to be polite at least.

It would cost them a fortune, in this case, to be nice...

They have to protect their trademarks, if they don't do it in one case, then they can lose the trademark. :? Their hands are pretty much tied. What surprises me, is that it has taken them so long to catch up with them.
