New iPhone worm

Anyone suspicious that these worms are only hitting jail broken phones, although it makes complete sense only these phones are being targeted as a result of the hacking process.

I'm not, apple simply couldn't risk being implicated in such a thing.

Yeah, I saw the report on that on Cnet last week... It is just a further implementation of the one a couple of weeks ago about charging €5 to secure jailbroken iPhones still using the default passwords...

Somebody has taken the code and gone a step further... If you are dumb enough to jailbreak an iPhone without knowing what you are actually doing, you deserve what you get.

Nope as it is only affecting phones that have SSH installed (a manual process not done by jailbreaking) and the owners not changing their passwords.

One of the key steps for jailbreaking an iPhone is installing/activating SSH. It isn't necessary to keep it running afterwards, but considering most people who jailbreak their iPhones don't have a clue what SSH is... :?
