I've often wondered if Doherty has the dirt on influential people or something - how the hell else is he still working, never mind getting gigs like this, onto the BBC etc?

The drugs must have gone to his brain (again).

There's never a sniper around when you need one is there.

Tosser, he should have done some research.

Lucky he just got taken off stage. Encouraging/praising national socialism (singing that verse, displaying swastikas, selling Mein Kampf and generally anything which promotes racism or xenophobia) can carry a gaol term.

In a letter printed on the on3 website, Doherty's manager Adrian Hunter said the singer had "wanted to celebrate his appearance in Munich by assimilating and integrating with the crowd".

Video footage of the incident shows him incorporating the song with an eccentric rendition of 'Hit the Road Jack'.

And it reminded me of that bit in Highlander - 'Whatever you say, Jack, you're the master race!' :)

Next week, Pete Doherty attempts to 'assimilate and integrate' with a crowd at a gig in Detriot by appearing wearing a white sheet and waving a burning cross.

Remind me again, why is this utter knobtard popular at all? His music's awful and he's plainly the kind of person you would normally do anything you possibly could to avoid. The sooner he finally overdoses himself onto a slab the better off the human race will be.

Well, don't tell Bratty, but I think he's a Freemason

Well, there has to be some explanation

Surely to 'assimilate and integrate' in Detroit he would have to "black up", the white sheet and burning cross would be for the deep south, however that gives me a great idea for a "reality" show, Doherty travels to various places and attempts to win the eharts and minds of the locals sort of like those Danny Dyer and Vinnie Jones and Chris Ryan and Bear Grylls programmes.

I suspect the reason he's popular is because radio one and myspace were ordered to make him so. I'd also like to see him die of a drug overdose, or bullet.
