Can you imaging what would happen here if the police were given a free supercar?
They'd lock it in a shed to save on petrol costs.

Is that before or after the inevitable public outcry on the 'waste' of public money, and then the subsequent complaints when the Astra 1.9 diesels aren't quick enough to catch criminals getting away?

In North Yorkshire alone I've seen an X5, a Range Rover, Land Rover Discovery's, Imprezzas and a variety of other BMWs.

A mate of mine got stopped years ago by a police Vauxhall Omega that had a BMW M3 engine. :shock:

A friend was pulled on his GSX-R1000 by an Imprezza STi on the M27... Trouble is, he pulled onto the hard shoulder and stopped... A GSX-R, doing a rolling stoppie, stops in less than a quarter of the distance of a startled cop in an Imprezza... They weren't impressed! :lol:
