A Danish man trying to force change in the copyright law last month reported himself for breaching copyright more than a hundred times....He now says his only option is to report himself to the police. “I decided to try to see if I can report myself directly to the police, for the case must be resolved.”

I wonder if someone should do that here as well

TorrentFreak reports that Henrik Anderson was trying to have his government address contradictory laws which state it is legal to copy DVDs for personal use but illegal to remove the DRM to do so.

So it's clearly a nonsense regarding DVDs you've bought (as in this case), but what about DVDs you've rented and copied, or borrowed off a mate and copied? :?

No it isn't ( except in a very few specific examples - e.g. taking a short extract reseach puropses etc)
There is no Fair Use Policy in the UK

Not until the government change the law, which is supposed to be in the pipeline somewhere.
