A lot of people log out, because it gives different results to the "personalised" version, which isn't returning the results they actually want... :?

So they can only track you if you have an account with Google?

It sounds like, if you use the same computer all the time, they can track you (albeit anonymously). You'll need to clear your cache instead and delete your Google cookies to get untampered results - or maybe use porn mode.

I allow cookies on a site by site basis, and google isn't one of the ones I allow. My cache is already set to clear each time I shut my browser down. So I should be okay.
